WHY!!! WHY!!! WHY!!! Why is it so freekin hard to make a hat for a four year old?!?! I have cast on at least a bazillion times & I swear I have yarn burn from frogging!
*sigh*
... So I promised to make hats for my Math Professor's children & I have 2 done but this 3rd one is proving to be the death of me ... death by frogging ... is that possible?? because I am feeling like it is.
If anyone out there has a good pattern for a flame beanie for a super cute 4 year old I could really use it right about now ... The first person to find me a pattern built for a 4 year old that is easy to follow (I can't yet make sense of the dashes n dots) will get not only my complete adoration but a gift of yarny goodness!!
P.S. I need the pattern STAT!
Yours truly,

I sent you a message on Ravelry with 2 hat patterns I found on there. I hope that helps some. If not then come on over and we'll decipher the hat patterns in the book I have :)
ReplyDeleteOh..also on that newborn hat in ravelry..if you look at other people's projects there is one woman that has charted the colorwork and put it in there so it's easier to understand.
Hi! I found my flames biker babe hat and flames graph posted on Ravelry from one of its members.
ReplyDeleteSo just want you to know I used a hat pattern generator I think from thedietdiary.com (the link is on my site). The flames graph is mine and I think the Ravelry link opens to my post that gives more info. It's the chart I made for my site banner. If you need a clear graph let me know. I have a pdf file. The one on my site is a scan. I used Tahki Stacy Charles Cotton Classic for the flames - awesome colorway, nice sheen. If you use my graph will you kindly mention where it came from ;o) I would love to see pictures. Thank you!
